Jim, You probably have no idea how popular your songs are around London, I've been singing them since I arrived 3 years ago and have been desperately trying to contact you since we first met in Rhyl Folk Club a 6/7 years ago. You might remember my youthful enthusiasm/pestering, possibly not. Anyway, my girlfriend Siobhan is a successful folk music promoter (loose ends promotions) in London and has recently contacted you with regards to a booking. I'll get her to call you asap. Great to know you're online, we'll be in touch soon

Hi, I remember meeting you at the tower in winchester after a gig and we talked about writing songs, you played that beautiful song better place which still always makes me cry everytime I listen to your record. I am also a song writer and musician and have been partly inspired by that song, really nice song and I can really relate to it!! Best wishes, Mike.

Great to see you've now got a website Jim. I used to see you regularly down at the Albert Hole at the end of the eighties (a long time ago). I still love your music and play it even though I haven't seen you do a gig since 1994 in Dartford. I have your first two albums and will buy some more now they're accessible (loved the sample of "always the last to know" - I prefer the stuff you've written to the covers - any tips on playing your music? I do "Better Place" and "TV Jane" but I've never quite got "Slow Day" , "Carol" and some of your other classics. Thanks for the music! Phil
